Made with many is a community-led arts programme which produces events and activities designed to surprise, delight and inspire local people. The programme aims to inspire more local Corby people than ever before to take the lead in experiencing, creating and taking part in high quality arts and cultural activities. Through conversations with local people and community decision-making panels, Made In Corby puts the community at the heart of commissioning artists and producing new and exciting events.
We are an small independent community group who have a small charity status, our main objective is to enhance the lives of the children who attend Maplefields school.
Maplefields is for children that have a statement of educational needs due to complex social, emotional and behavioural issues. These children are unable to attend local authority run schemes. They also fall into a category of not being able to attend Disabilty groups due to the complexities of their needs. The children that attend Maplefields school have a hidden Disabilty and therefore they are a unique set of children that cannot attend social groups or play-schemes.
We are trying to raise funds to sustain activities for these children to attend outside of school hours. We do this through fundraising and events. We are in our infancy and this is a learning curve for us all.
We are trying to forge local ties within our community and we welcome new members to join us on our journey and welcome the wealth of knowledge that they may bring to Maplefields circle of friends.

Social and Interest Groups
Good company, entertainment and refreshment, a contact point for support and information or simply a welcome break from the house- our social groups for visually impaired people offer any or all of these things! Our groups enable people with sight loss to come together and build friendships, share information and tips but most of all- enjoy themselves. We are always looking for new members and if you would prefer, you can come along with a family member or friend for support.
Some of the social groups meet in the afternoon, such as Corby and Wellingborough whilst others such as Northampton and Long Buckby all enjoy a get together over lunch. Everyone looks forward to the annual Christmas parties and Summer outings -weather permitting!

Becoming a member also provides the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities and events held locally, regionally and nationally throughout the year.
About The Royal British Legion
We provide financial, social and emotional care and support to all members of the British Armed Forces - past and present and their families. The Legion is also the national Custodian of Remembrance and safeguards the Military Covenant between the nation and its Armed Forces and is best known for the annual Poppy Appeal and its emblem the red poppy.
Founded in 1921, the Legion is not just about those who fought in the two World Wars of the last century, but also about those involved in the many conflicts since 1945 and those still fighting for the freedom we enjoy today.
